The 8th grade students recently went on their class trip to Green Bay. Part of the trip included high adventure at the New Zoo and Adventure Park. Here, students got geared up and zipped along a 1000 foot zip line that took them down a 50 foot tower built up on a hill and across a lake to the landing platform. Students then had the opportunity to take on the climbing walls and three-decker high ropes course. It was a fun-filled adventurous challenge!

The end of the year brought several Wildcat Assemblies. Ms. Balog hosted our big Wildcat Pride Assembly where students have opportunities to win prizes for Wildcat behavior throughout the year. This is part of our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program. In a separate assembly, students participated in a patriotic singing-along. Also during the assembly, seventh graders shared their junk bots that they designed and built.

Students in Mrs. Marcottes class recently learned about magnetic forces through a lesson and read-aloud. Afterwards, students had the opportunity to investigate and play with magnets

Students in Miss Marttila's 4th grade class used our new Charlie Cart (portable kitchen) to prepare a delicious breakfast for our fist graders this morning. The food was delicious and fun and learning we're going hand in hand. Way to go 4th graders!

The end of the year brings the annual tradition of the staff vs. 8th grade kickball game. This year, the 8th grade won by 17 points with a final score of 19-2. It is true that the 8th grade clobbers the staff each year. 😀 However, the staff won 3 out of 3 volleyball matches vs. the 8th grade last week! It is all in fun, and is truly a joy-filled time! We will miss our 8th grade students, but are excited for what the future holds for each of them!

It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating the 100th day of school in the kindergarten class.
