The 59th Annual Eighth Grade Boys Invitational Basketball Tournament will be held in L'Anse this coming Tuesday, December 17th. Our Wildcats will take on the Chassell Panthers at 5:15. The winner will then take on Jeffers or Houghton on Thursday, December 19th.

Today's basketball game vs. Jeffers has been canceled due to the snowy weather and school closures. Unfortunately, the game will not be rescheduled. Our Wildcats will be playing in a tournament next Tuesday at L'Anse. We will share the game time once it is released.

Stanton’s annual Christmas Program is Wednesday, December 18th. With a morning performance at 9am and the evening performance at 6:30.
The PTO is asking families to bring a dessert (ready to serve) or cookies to the evening performance. These can be dropped off in the cafeteria for the dessert social following the program.

Joan Becia from WUPHD will be here November 18 and 19th to do vision and hearing screening on all 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th graders. Also, if your kindergartner did not get tested during RoundUp she will test them.

We want to thank all of our veterans for their service to our country! We are having a school assembly at 10:15 on Monday morning to honor all who have served. Hello Kindergarten Parents! Your child's teeth will be assessed Thursday. The State of Michigan now requires a simple dental assessment of all kindergartners. Smiles on Wheels is traveling to all area schools to assess students. The assessment is free. No treatment is done, it's simply a quick look in the mouth.
