The Stanton Township Public Schools Board of Education announces a vacancy on the Board, effective December 31, 2025. The Board of Education is seeking to appoint a qualified resident to fill the vacant seat. The individual appointed will serve from the date of appointment until the next school board election.
Residents of Stanton Township School District who are interested in serving on the Board of Education are invited to submit a letter of interest outlining their background, qualifications, and reasons for wishing to serve. Submissions can be sent to the school at 50870 Holman School Road, Atlantic Mine, MI 49905. The submission deadline is 4:00 PM, Monday, December 15, 2025.

Stanton's Halloween Parade is Friday @ 9am. Come out to watch the students show their costumes. The parade will take place outside around the flag pole, weather permitting. We will have it in the gym if needed. Please send your children to school in their costumes! Friday will be a half day here at Stanton.

Our third and fourth grade students had a fantastic field trip to the Delaware Mine and Fort Wilkins.
Students got to explore the Delaware Mine, learning all about the Copper Country's rich mining history. Students also go to tour the historic Fort Wilkins State Park and see what life was like when the area was a first being developed.
We're also thrilled to share a wonderful community aspect of this trip. The Delaware Mine offers a matching program with area schools, matching our admission fee as a donation to a charity of our choice.
Through this great program, we successfully raised $250 for the Keweenaw County Sheriff's No Child Without Christmas Fund. What a great day of learning and giving back!
What a great day at our school this past Friday! We had a special visit from the Stanton Township fire department for an awesome fire safety program.
Our students learned so much, including basic household fire safety tips. They also got a chance to see the firefighter's equipment up close and even bravely and safely navigated through a smoke-filled building!
We want to say a huge thank you to our amazing local volunteer firefighters for teaching us these important skills and for everything you do for our community!
